17th of April ANQA organized the third seminar about organization of internal audit of educational programs. Y. Troynich, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and G. Avagyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Center were presented as a participants from Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University.
Ruben Topchyan - ANQA Director noted in his speech that the purpose of the audit is not only to assess the compliance of the educational programs with standards, but also to understand whether each component of the educational program contributes to the formation of final results or not. The audit should become a tool for content analysis of the educational program, assessing the effectiveness of each component, for example, the relationship between teaching methods, assessment tools and results, as well as the level of development of students' research skills.
Planning and conducting an audit should happened time from time, become an active component of the quality assurance system and cover all educational programs of the university. Internal audit of educational programmers for higher education institutions is a mandatory process established by decisions of the ANQA Accreditation Committee.
