11th of April 2025, an OPEN DOOR DAY took place
in "Mkhitar Gosh"
Armenian-Russian University. The University hosted
schoolchildren from
high school N 97 named after Grigor Zohrab, students from
the Yerevan State
Basic Medical College and the Medical College named after Mehrabyan.
The purpose of the visit was to support students in their
professional orientation.
The students got acquainted with the university conditions,
educational programs, full-time and part-time faculties, and the
daily life of students.
Then, in the simulation centers and laboratories, schoolchildren
and students took part in various medical interventions that
were carried out on a demonstration anatomical table, models,
mock-ups and phantoms. The technique of CPR and ECG was demonstrated,
midwives observed the biomechanics of labor in anterior breech presentation.
The students also participated in determining of blood groups.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
